Forge Mass. Manufacturing Mash-up.

At the 2024 Forge Manufacturing Mashup, we had an incredible experience—and some great news to share! Forge is a unique event that brings together a mix of manufacturing innovators, from startups to established companies, to share new ideas, make connections, and compete for grants that can drive their projects forward. It’s all about collaboration and finding solutions to big manufacturing challenges, so we were in amazing company with other teams pushing the limits of what’s possible in this field.

We’re thrilled to say that HPT won the 1st place prize grant out of the 72 teams that competed! This is a huge boost for us and a testament to the hard work we’ve put into developing our GRID system. Our solution, which is all about transforming older buildings to make them more energy-efficient and resilient, really resonated with the judges. They saw how the GRID system not only tackles building performance but also offers flexibility for different building types, which makes it ideal for addressing the diverse needs of real-world applications. Winning this grant means we can move even faster in making our vision of sustainable, adaptable buildings a reality, and we couldn’t be more excited to keep pushing forward!
