HIGH-PERFORMANCE RETROFIT panel SYSTEMS

Improve building energy performance by using a bio-based  insulated cladding system.

HP Panels offer efficient and eco-friendly solutions for exterior retrofits. Utilizing a prefabricated kit of parts that snap together, HP Panels enable rapid re-cladding of small multi-family homes without displacement, in up to 65% less time than traditional methods. Industry tested and engineered, the HP Panel system is adaptable to specified R value needs. HP Panel offers an aesthetically flexible design palette facilitated by CNC milling, and utilizes LIDAR scanning and proprietary software for precise layouts that are custom fit to each building. All of this, and the system is 90% bio-based and carbon neutral.

Advantages of RETROFITS with hp panel.

HP Panel offers a cost-effective solution for retrofitting buildings, competing favorably with existing cladding systems. Prefabricated off-site, these panels streamline installation, reducing labor costs and construction time by up to 65%. Occupants can remain in place during the rapid re-cladding process, with a typical triple decker building completed in under 5 days. Beyond cost efficiency, HP Panel substantially enhances energy performance, leading to lower bills and minimal maintenance. Flexible performance specs, bio-based materials, faster install, and the widest range of aesthetic possibilities available on the market, all for a cost that competes with traditional cladding options.

HP tech’s boston Origin.

Highland Park Technologies was launched after an architect and a builder who had performed deep energy retrofits (DER’s) in the past, connected and realized there had to be a better way to solve the problem of improving energy efficiency in existing buildings. Prior DER’s performed in New England would required a building owner to take out a mortgage to afford just the shell portion of the retrofit. This made most retrofits not financially viable with traditional methods. Given the urgency of needing to massively reduce society’s carbon output, and with existing buildings representing 40% of current output, the need and opportunity is huge. Our team is a collaboration of architects, builders, craftspeople, digital fabrication experts, and automation specialists. We have one goal, make exterior deep energy retrofits accessible to the largest portion of building owners possible at the best cost.
